Speech Language Pathologists use Fiberoptic or Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) to assess swallow function. Using a transnasal endoscope, the SLP can visualize swallow function and help identify safe swallowing strategies and determine appropriate diet texture to assist with dysphagia management.
